Living in the Elizabeth Neighborhood.
I'm just excited that they're still coming, even if we have to wait a bit. Anything's better than a Circle-K/Burger King combo. In my opinion, there's already been a significant decrease in walk-through vagrants and beggars with the closing of the Circle-K. I personally caught two guys who had robbed my car on Louise of spare change to get beer at the Circle-K. Caught them waiting for the bus with the help of a neighbor who witnessed it. Good riddance. Now if we could just get rid of those pawn shops over on Central Ave - they're conveniently placed for thieves to steal from our homes and yards, walk over to Central, and cash in at our expense. Does anyone in our neighborhood really use them?
I don't think so. The only time I ever go to those pawn shops is when I'm looking for stolen goods. We found some one time, too. So, yes, I'd enjoy getting rid of them or making it harder for criminals to fence their loot.
